Within Talbot County, we have three organizations that are active in promoting Republican values. They are the Mid Shore League of Republican Women (MSLRW), Republican Women of Talbot County (RWTC), and the Republican Council (RC). Click on one of the links below for more information:
The Mid-Shore League of Republican Women (MSLRW) was founded in 1999 for the following purposes:
With your membership in MSLRW, you will receive a monthly newsletter which will keep you informed about League activities and Republican activities occurring in Talbot County and the State, along with a Membership Book which lists each MSLRW member with contact information. With your membership in MSLRW, you will automatically become a member of the National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW) and the Maryland Federation of Republican Women (MFRW), with subscriptions to The Republican Woman, an online magazine, and MFRW's newsletter The Trumpeter.
Activities include conducting voter registration drives, providing forums for candidates, assisting the Republican Central Committee of Talbot County, participating on various committees and boards associated with the MFRW, arranging and attending fellowship events, and supporting charities. MSLRW supports the Mid-Shore Council on Family Violence.
The Mid-Shore League of Republican Women meets the second Wednesday of the month from 7:00pm to 9:00pm, usually at the Holiday Inn Express on U.S. 50 in Easton.

The Republican Women of Talbot County is a club whose members are active women from all walks of life interested in good government, working for conservative issues and the Republican Party.
When you join our club you also become a member of the Maryland Federation of Republican Women and the National Federation of Republican Women, making you a member of the largest women's political organization in the world.
When you join our club you receive our newsletters and the Republican Woman magazine. As a member you are encouraged to attend monthly meetings and work on committees in your areas of interest for the good of those interests and the Republican Party.
We meet the third Saturday of each month, except July and August, at William Hill Manor at 12:00 noon. We have lunch and a speaker. Reservations are required and guests are welcome.

The Republican Council is a PAC (Political Action Committee) organized to encourage and support Republican candidates for office. To do so, we provide financial support to candidates and provide creditable information on issues to inform and persuade Talbot County voters. Although independent, we work closely with the Republican Central Committee and other Republican organizations.
The Council is conservative-oriented, believing that each of us should be given an opportunity to succeed. We believe in free markets, both in economics and in ideas. We believe candidates for political office must be of the highest moral and intellectual integrity. We are committed to an organization that encourages debate on issues, shares information, and provides a forum for public discourse on issues of common concern.
The RC Board of Directors meets monthly, generally the third Tuesday of each month, and hosts informational meetings and discussions from time to time.
